While the credits rolling 只想崇拜PTA的auteurship和他在这部电影中作为天才初露锋芒的锐气。以70s和80s为分界，表面上为成人电影业谱成一首挽歌，其实也是对好莱坞和整个黄金时代的文化做出一个总结性的eulogy。整个screening experience是violent, salacious, yet heartfelt (PTA给了一个相对积极的结尾也充分说明他的touch依然是温暖的）。电影很多镜头语言，剪辑方式，以及mise-en-scene中层出不穷的意像（phallus as power and the invitation to stardom有太多可以unpack了）都宣告了PTA是这个时代的天才。
